The Complete Dog Fence Kit

The DIY dog fence kit comes complete with a transmitter, the receiver collar, and boundary wire as the main components straight out of the box. To complete the setup, plug the surge protected power adaptor into the nearest powerpoint then run the wire from the transmitter around your perimeter back to it - making a continuous loop.

With the Installation Guide and Step-by-Step Guide, you can learn how to change the corrections levels of your receiver collar - making the training easier. Use the test loop to see how the collar reacts to the dog fence wire and plan the installation and dog fence layout while referring to the suggested layout designs included in the kit.

The dog fence transmitter emits a harmless radio signal down the boundary wire that the receiver collar detects. It has a Coded Digital FM Radio Frequency that will not interfere with other stray signals within your perimeter - which can be easily adjusted and gives you full control of the radio signal's depth.

The Grounds Keeper Dog Fence Collar

The receiver collar includes 2 small contact posts that rest against your dog's skin. As your dog approaches the boundary wire and stays in the warning zone, the Receiver Collar will react to the radio signal it detects and gives your dog a warning beep. If he goes beyond the warning zone, the Receiver Collar will proceed to give mild and harmless static correction - enough to get his attention and make him go back to the safe zone.

3 YEAR WARRANTY - INCLUDES  1 DOG CHEWS

The receiver collar is made of high-quality polycarbonate material which makes its outer shell withstand high impacts and is as tough as bulletproof glass. If your dog can still chew through that, the receiver collar completely comes with the dog chew warranty that will replace it once damaged. Warranty does not apply on batteries, contact posts, or nylon collars.
 

WATERPROOF - FULLY SUBMERSIBLE

The Lithium battery included in the receiver collar is replaceable and can last up to 2 years on standard size receivers with average use. The battery life will still vary depending on how frequent you use it and the level of corrections set in the receiver collar.

It also features an anti-linger that automatically shuts off the receiver collar if your dog sits on the warning zone area while listening to the warning tone - great for saving your battery life.
 

USER PROGRAMMABLE LEVELS IN THE DOG FENCE COLLAR

Depending on your dog's size, you can choose between the Standard Collar with 5 levels of correction or the Premium Collar with 8 levels of correction. The collars come with an audible tone only setting that activates when your dog comes near the boundary wires in the warning zone - making your dog's training easy.

The receiver collar works by delivering a warning beep as your dog approaches the boundary. As he goes further beyond it, the receiver collar gives a startling yet safe static correction which encourages him to go back to the safe zone.

This helps your dog to learn what the static corrections are for and what it brings when he tries to cross the boundary. This includes a Training Guide that will walk you through the process and helps you to properly train your dog.

Our Pet Barrier collars have faster reaction time than any other dog fence collars in the market. With 1/8th of second reaction time, your dog won’t even think of trying to run through your dog fence again and will stop the possibility of a run through by giving the correction before your dog crosses your boundary wires and not while running over it.

With its advanced technology, the Coded Digital FM Radio Frequency ignores other radio signals in the area preventing the receiver collar to activate and correcting your dog unintentionally - ignoring even your neighbour's electronic dog fence installed. It also ignores radio signals from your neighbour if your dog goes near their boundary wires. To ensure safety, the dog's receiver collar only detects radio signals and activates with your own Pet Barrier Transmitter.

The FM radio signal is hard-coded into the receiver collar's internal circuit and will not accept any other radio signals near it except your own dog fence's radio signal.
 

TRI-AERIAL SYSTEM - IMPROVED RECEPTION

This feature improves the radio signal and ensures that it is detecting the radio signal coming from your own electronic dog fence transmitter no matter how the dog is wearing it - as long as the contact posts touch the dog's skin. With its 3 built-in antennas in the receiver collar, this improves the signal reception and ensures that it is not blocked.
 

SAFETY SHUTDOWN - PROTECTS YOUR DOG FROM OVER-CORRECTIONS.

The safety shutdown feature on the receiver collar stops correcting your dog after 15 seconds if he is stuck inside the correction zone. This gives him enough time to understand that he needs to move away from the boundary wires and go back to the safe zone. If the dog lingers in the correction zone, the receiver collar will give a low-level static correction every 15 seconds to remind him that he needs to step back - ensuring safety to your dog.
 

ADD MORE DOGS! – EXTRA COLLARS

If you have more than one dog and want to contain them all, simply add extra receiver collars for each of them then they can be individually trained with your existing dog fence - as easy as that! To make the training easier, the correction levels of each receiver collars can be set to different levels for each of your dogs to fit their personality.
 

CROSS-COMPATIBILITY – WORKS WITH ALL PET BARRIER AND DOGWATCH RECEIVER COLLARS

By default, this kit comes with either the standard FM1200 for big dogs or FM1200m receiver collar for small dogs which has 5 levels of corrections. You have the option to upgrade to our Premium collars with 8 programmable levels and a 5 Year Manufacturer's warranty and choose between the Premium R9 for big dogs and Premium R7 Mini for small dogs.

High-Quality Dog Fence Boundary Wire

The included dog fence wire is coated with High-Density Polyethylene (HDPe) and has a 20 year UV rating that can endure the sun's heat for a very long time. This doesn't require to be buried under the ground and it can be simply hanged on your existing wooden fence or around your garden. It also contains 7 strands of copper wires that make it more durable, strong and consistent.

Each kit contains 100m of HDPe dog fence wire for your property. The Grounds Keeper transmitter is able to cover properties of up to 300m which is equivalent to 300m of wire. If you have a property larger than that, see our FM1200 Invisible Dog Fence Kit for larger property areas.
