Dog Fence Radio Transmitter
Make sure you check out our Lightning Protection Warranty on the Transmitter.
Once the boundary wire comes back to the transmitter and creates a closed loop, the signal will have nowhere to go but outwards from the wire - this creates your boundary. You can also adjust the radio signal at the "Range Controller" on the Transmitter.

Why an FM radio signal is better for an Electric Dog Fence?
Having a transmitter that uses an FM radio signal means that radio signals inside your house will not be affected.
The SafeLink™ Coded Digital FM Frequency is a safety feature that will not allow the signal to interfere with any electronic devices in your house like the TV, microwave and radios.
PLUS, your dog will not get any accidental correction while walking past the TV or stray radio frequencies.

On larger property systems, if lightning hits your boundary wire and travels to the transmitter, an external power surge box protects your transmitter from that situation. On top of these protective features, our 3-year warranty covers damages from any surge or lightning damage.
Our transmitters are covered by a 3 year manufacturer’s warranty that includes a special warranty for fusion damage caused by power surges and lightning. The transmitter will be replaced if damaged by power surges or fusion damage from lightning strikes.
The coded digital FM radio frequency means that the Receiver Collars will only connect with the radio signal from the Transmitter.
With the proper depth, you can set a boundary around your property as well as around areas inside your property such as a garden while still being able to let your dog walk through pathways.
The built in alarm in the transmitter will tell you if you have a break in your boundary wire. The alarm is instant so you will know when your dog is able to escape the boundary.
Having a regulated power supply means that the radio signal will maintain a constant depth from the wire - if you get a power spike it will not affect the distance of your radio signal and ‘correct’ the dog in the wrong area.
The green earth wire we have attached to the power plug also protects the transmitter from lighting strikes and fusion damage. Click here to learn more about the transformer.
All kits come with 100m of HDPe Dog Fence Wire. The Grounds Keeper Kit can cover areas of up to 1 acre which is equivalent to 300m of wire while the FM1200 can cover larger areas from 1, 2, 5, 10, and 20 to even 100 acres of property if needed. Larger area coverage may require an upgrade to the power supply.
All our receiver collars can work with any of our transmitters. This provides you with more flexibility to suit your dog's personality. Once you've picked an appropriate kit for your property, you can pick which collar is suited for your dog.
If the transmitter is affected by power surges or fusion damage from lightnimng strikes, it is very costly to replace - unless you have a fusion burn warranty.
Your dog will NOT receive any false corrections from collar activating if it is exposed to other radio signals (from a TV or a Microwave oven for example).
The FM radio signal will also not affect the electronics inside your house (like making your TV go Fuzzy).
You can set the depth of the signal coming from the boundary wire to fit your dog fence requirements. You can alsocreate a custom layout that involves signal cancelling when the 2 wires create a twisted pair.
