The Dog Control Act 2000 in Tasmania requires dog owners with Dangerous Dogs to comply with the Act’s requirements or face large fines and penalties. This Dangerous Dog Warning Sign specific for Tasmania is one of the main requirements. The sign must be put up and installed on all entrances to the premises where the dog is usually kept to alert the public that a Dangerous Dog is being kept there.

It must also be placed on the Door/Gate of the dog’s enclosure. Failure to comply with this requirement may incur a fine of up to $1,300.

The Dangerous Dog Warning Sign for Tasmania is made of durable metal materials and complies with the Act’s requirements of showing a clearly legible text saying “Dangerous Dog”. It also features a picture of a dangerous dog for easy interpretation.
