How does my dog learn where the boundary is?

Your dog learns the boundaries through recognition of the visual boundary flags, the audible tones and the mild static stimulation set at low levels. Through positive reinforcement, your dog is taught to understand where the boundaries are located.  Through repetition and consistency, your dog learns where they can run and play. With training, your dog remembers the meaning of the flags (which are slowly taken away during the training period). They will understand how to respond to the audible tones and the correction stimulation.
