Colin Seal is the founder of The Dog Line, one of Australia's leading suppliers of dog fences, bark control collars, and remote dog training systems. For more than 20 years, Colin has been dedicated to helping dog owners solve behavioural problems, improve dog safety, and build stronger relationships with their dogs.

His journey began in 2003 after a family experience highlighted the challenges many dog owners face. When his son's dog was at risk of being rehomed due to excessive barking, Colin began researching practical solutions that could help owners manage common behavioural issues safely and effectively. Although he was unable to save that particular dog from being rehomed, the experience inspired him to help other families avoid similar situations.

Since then, Colin has worked with thousands of dog owners across Australia, providing advice and support on dog containment systems, barking dog collars, remote training collars, and responsible dog ownership. His focus has always been on matching the right solution to the individual dog, owner, and situation.

A Passion for Dog Safety

Over the years, Colin has become particularly well known for his work with hidden dog fences and dog containment systems. His goal is simple: help keep dogs safe at home while giving them the freedom to enjoy their environment.

Through The Dog Line, he has helped owners address common challenges including:

The company has also been recognised for its commitment to customer service, community support, innovation, and helping improve relationships between people and their dogs.

Supporting the Dog Community and Charity Work

Beyond helping individual dog owners, Colin has been actively involved in supporting dog-related organisations, rescue groups, and community initiatives. The Dog Line has contributed to dog welfare projects, sponsored industry events, supported ranger training programs, and assisted animal welfare efforts through donations and community partnerships within Australia. Doing charity work overseas like children’s ministry in the Philippines and building houses in Indonesia.
