If Dog Collar is not reacting and correcting the dog at the fence we need to check a few things in an order to determine where the issue might be.
1. It could be that the collar is not functioning.
2. It could be an issue with the signal (or lack of it) coming from the transmitter.
Watch this quick video first and read the notes to follow the steps.
If this does not work either the collar or transmitter or both MAY, need to come back to us.
** Try resetting the collar first - Remove the battery - drain all energy in the collar (hold the magnet up to the side to make it beep) - put the battery back in and try the levels.
Test that it is changing levels - using the test magnet against the side of the collar.
If the collar is beeping as it changes levels then the collar should be OK.
**Batteries - Not all Batteries are the same, they may be the right size and Volts - But a poor quality battery may not run the collar correctly.
The collar may not work or may work sporadically if the battery is not the correct quality.
- It may be worth buying a replacement set of batteries if you have had them for a while or did not get them through us...

Resetting the frequency of the transmitter will 're-boot' it back to the original frequency transmission.
It may be that a brownout or a small spike in power has given the transmitter a 'Hiccup' so the collar is not getting the right signal.
A. Unplug the power cord at the base of the transmitter.
B. Find the frequency switch on the back and switch it down to 4Khz.
C. plug the power cord back into the base of the transmitter. (the collar will not work but we now reset it back to the correct frequency)
D. Again... Unplug the power cord at the base of the transmitter.
E. Now switch the frequency switchback up to 8Khz
F. plug the power cord back into the base of the transmitter.
**Hold the collar receiver up to the base of the transmitter (there will be a small radio signal near the 2 wires)
If it is still not working but the collar is changing levels - your transmitter may be damaged.
It may be necessary to send the transmitter back to us for further testing in the workshop.
Please call us to confirm that you are sending it back and what the issue may be.
** Please ensure you have had a new set of batteries from us prior to sending the system back.
