CAN BE LAUNCHED BETWEEN 2.5 METRE AND 9 METRE WITHIN 9 SETTINGS

Depending on the size of your dog and how far it can run and fetch the ball, the PetSafe Automatic Ball Launcher PTY17-15849 can launch the ball between 2.5m and 9m. Simply adjust the Tennis Ball knob to any of the 9 settings and any dog can play fetch.
 

6 TOTAL DOG BALL LAUNCHER ANGLE SETTINGS

With 6 angle settings between 20 degrees and 45 degrees, you can launch the ball even farther and higher for dogs that like to jump and catch. For small dogs, you can aim the launch lower for a rolling throw.
 

BALL HOPPER CAN HOLD UP TO 3 BALLS

With up to 3 balls loaded into the hopper, you can keep your dog active without the wait. It is recommended only to use 1 ball if you leave your dog to play with the entertainment ball launcher alone.
 

STANDARD SIZE TENNIS BALLS FOR DOGS

The PetSafe Entertainment Dog Ball Launcher PTY17-15849 is compatible with standard-sized tennis balls. This way if the included balls get too damaged or get lost, you can simply find a nearby sports store and get new ones.
 

PERFECT FOR INDOOR AND OUTDOOR USE

You can use the Automatic Ball Launcher both indoors and outdoors. It’s weatherproof so a little splash of water won’t damage anything. It is not waterproof so it is still recommended to be used on a clear day.
 

SENSORS FOR MOTION DETECTION AND SAFETY

The Motion Sensor detects if your dog is standing right in front of it and will pause the launch for 5 seconds. It can detect your dog for up to 2m so in order for the launch to activate, your dog has to either stand at the side or far behind the 2m mark.
 

CAN BE USED INDEPENDENTLY OR WITH HUMAN INTERACTION

The PetSafe Automatic Ball Launcher PTY17-15849 was intended for independent use. However, you can also load the hopper with 2 more balls and keep your dog active while you play along.
 

WARNING TONE BEFORE LAUNCH

Before each ball launch, the Entertainment Dog Ball Launcher will sound a tone as a way of telling your dog it’s about to launch a ball. This warning tone will give your dog a chance to step aside and not get hit by the ball.
 

BATTERY OR MAINS POWERED

If you’re going to use the PetSafe Automatic Ball Launcher outdoors, it is recommended to use batteries. The unit is powered by 6 D-cell batteries. For indoor use, you can simply plug in the power cord straight into the mains.
 

REST MODE TO AVOID EXHAUSTION

The Rest Mode is a safety feature that ensures your dog does not get overworked. It is common for younger dogs to keep playing and forget they need rest. The Ball Launcher will emit 2 tones after 15mins of continuous play indicating that it will enter rest mode. It will emit another 2 tones when it is ready for play mode.
