Electric Dog Fences or more accurately Radio Dog Fences can be plugged in to a normal power point, the dog fence transmitter sends a radio signal down a wire that runs around the property, no need to bury our wire. The Dog Fencing wire produces a radio signal transmitted from the dog fence wire. R9 Premium Dog Fence CollarThe R9 recently superseded the R8 Receiver radio dog fence receiver, it is included with the PT4 Pet Barrier Kit, however it is also compatible with the Pet Barrier FM1200 system to give you a higher performing receiver. You can 'Trade-up' to the R9 dog receiver collar as part of our Mission Accomplished Guarantee. This receiver has higher levels offering 7 correction levels and a tone only training mode. Training a more determined or a more timid dog, or having a property with little or no fences may require a more advanced receiver collar offering greater flexibility. Combined with the Performance Series PT4 transmitter it features auto adjust to increase the correction level automatically and remain at the higher level for 24 hrs. The indicator light will tell you that your dog has tested the boundary (Correction Alert), give you the correction level setting of the collar and tell you when a new battery is required - 2 year life. A replaceable battery with a 2 year life exceeds anything available in the industry and saves you the worry of having to recharge or change batteries every month or so. A 20 second 'anti linger' function ensures that your dog does not remain in the warning zone and waste battery life. This receiver will also react to the boundary signal faster than any receiver on the market to further reduce the possibility of a run through. If your dog chews the Receiver it is covered by an industry first 'chew warranty'.
